Climate change is a change in the usual weather (or rather, climate) of a place on Earth. The existence of climate change itself has been present for many, many years, though now it seems we have entered a more human-induced stage of its presence.

In the past, it took climate change millions of years to have noticeable effects but since changing into the newest phase, it seems to have increased noticeably. Some effects that can be seen are global warming and the lengthening/shortening of seasons in various places on Earth.

Global warming is the increase in temperatures across the world, showing itself in the warming of oceans, the subtle escalation of precipitation patterns, droughts, and heat waves. This is devastating to the economies of coastal regions whose water ecosystems are disturbed.
